Offering services in interior design and art consulting, Lauren specializes in mixing traditional design with a modern edge, giving a casual elegance and exciting tension that is timeless and fresh.  Highlighting art, layering prints and textures while giving a spark of the unexpected is a hallmark of her aesthetic. 

Lauren believes in creating authentic spaces that reflect the personality and priorities of her clients.  It is this partnership with each client that is the best part of the job.  She loves to dive into each client's style and aesthetic in order to discover what makes them feel happy and at home in their spaces.  As a mother of three, she understands the importance of grounding each project in her client’s comfort and practical use.

Her creative sensibility stems from her extensive background in the arts -- as a professional photographer, graphic designer, and arts educator -- that positions her with an advantage to execute great design projects.  Now residing in Houston, she lived for over 16 years in New York City and Darien, Connecticut with her husband and three children.  She has undergraduate degrees from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Masters from Harvard University.
